CA P.V.Rajarajeswaran is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Graduated in Commerce from the American College, Madurai, he is also a Law Graduate. He has been practicing as a Chartered Accountant at Madurai. He has about 38 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant. CA. P.V. Rajarajeswaran got elected as Chairman of the Southern India Regional Council of ICAI.
It covers the States of Tamilnadu, Kerela, Karnataka, Telengana, Andra Pradesh and the Union Territory of Pudhuchery. He held the positions of both Standing and Non-Standing members in various Committees of SIRC. In the Council tenure, CA. P.V. Rajarajeswaran has contributed many new ideas to the effective functioning of the Committees.
As Ex-officio member of Erode, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Salem, Sivakasi and Vellore Branches of SIRC he, with his flair for perfection guided the affairs of these branches.
With his passion towards the profession he encouraged members from many mofusil places like Madurai, Karaikudi, Dindigul, Sivakasi, and Salem to become the resource persons.
He was the Member in the Board of Studies for PG Commerce Course at Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU), RL Institute, Lady Doak College and Fatima College. He authored study materials for Diploma Students of Taxation in Madurai Kamaraj University. He served as an Advisory Committee member in Income Tax Department.
He served a visiting Faculty for M.B.A. students in Fatima College and Thiagarajar School of Management.
He has given talks in All India Radio on Taxation subjects for the Commerce students of Madurai Kamaraj University. He was trained in IIM Ahemadabad for case study method of teaching.
He acted as Chairmen and resource person in Seminars, Study circles and Workshops organized by the Institute and other professional bodies. He has presented many papers in Income Tax, Companies Act, GST, NRI Taxation, Project Financing, Investor Awareness etc.
He is appointed as one of 5 members of High Level Committee in the Ministry of Finance, Government of Tamilnadu, to discuss the issues relating to the Valuation of Shares held by State Public Sector Undertakings like TIDCO and ELCOT.
As the Statutory and Internal Auditor he serves the Companies in the sectors like Chemicals, Fertilizers, Pharmaceuticals, Food, Auto components, Hospitalities etc.
He is one of the known Chartered Accountants specializing in Taxation, both Direct and Indirect, for all types of Assesses like Individuals, Trusts, Societies, Partnership Firms, Limited Liability Partnership and Corporate.
